TAPinto Camden

CAMDEN, NJ — Among those returning to school Tuesday were approximately 100 students who have the distinction of being the first senior class at Mastery High School of Camden.
A banner congratulating the school’s founding class welcomed students as they kicked off the new school year. Principal William Hayes, teachers, and other staff greeted students with handshakes, hugs, and high-fives.
Some seniors will leave with more than just a diploma when they graduate in 2020. Advanced Placement offerings at Mastery and a dual enrollment program with Camden County College give eligible students the opportunity to earn an associate degree.
