Mastery Schools complies with all federal and state certification requirements for applicable roles. Employees must hold or obtain the appropriate certification for their position and assignment. While certification is not required at the time of offer, candidates must begin the certification process by their start date.

For uncertified Pennsylvania employees, candidates must obtain an emergency permit. For uncertified New Jersey employees, candidates should obtain a Certificate of Eligibility prior to their start date. If you currently hold certification in another state, Mastery’s HR department will assist you with the reciprocity process.

During the application process, you can specify your school, grade level, and subject area preferences. The Recruitment Team will review your preferences when considering your placement. However, all applications to Mastery are reviewed for all of our schools and the ultimate placement decision is based on your qualifications and your fit with the needs of a particular school.

We currently anticipate that we will be hiring over 250 new teachers, leaders and other positions for the upcoming school year.
