Mina Lee - Mastery Schools

Mina Lee is the proud principal of Molina Elementary, serving students in grades K-8. As the founding assistant principal of instruction and specialized services in 2017, Lee played a critical role in shaping the foundation of the school and creating a nurturing environment for students to thrive.

Her educational journey began in 2009 as a teacher in Atlanta, Georgia. Recognizing the importance of quality education and the need for change, she joined the Teach for America New Jersey team as an instructional coach, supporting and mentoring new teachers.

Principal Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Louisiana State University. These experiences provided her with valuable insights into the challenges faced by students and educators, which fueled her determination to pursue a more equitable educational system for all students and their families.
