Mina Lee - Mastery Schools

Mina Lee serves as the Principal of Molina Elementary, serving students in grades K-8. As the founding assistant principal of instruction (API) and specialized services in 2017, Mina played a critical role in shaping the foundation of the school and creating a nurturing environment for students to thrive.

Mina’s journey in education began in 2009 as a teacher in Atlanta, Georgia. Recognizing the importance of quality education and the need for change, she joined the Teach for America New Jersey team as an instructional coach, supporting and mentoring new teachers. Through these experiences, she gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by both students and educators, fueling her determination to work towards a more equitable system for all students and their families.

Mina has a bachelor of arts degree in education from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Louisiana State University. Her academic achievements, combined with her hands-on experience, have shaped her into a visionary leader committed to providing a holistic and equitable elementary experience for all students.
