Marsha Ramdeen - Mastery Schools

Marsha Ramdeen is the proud principal of Hardy Williams Elementary. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Principal Ramdeen immigrated to the United States at the age of 11. She moved to Hillside, New Jersey, where she grew up and attended middle and high school. 

Over the last 20 years, she has served as a special education teacher, department chair, legal compliance and policy specialist, and assistant principal. Before accepting her role as Hardy’s principal, she served as assistant principal of specialized services at Hardy Williams High School for two and a half years.

Principal Ramdeen earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminal justice from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and her master’s degree in school administration from North Carolina State University. She brings to Hardy Williams Elementary a passion for students and a commitment to ensuring they have the tools necessary to succeed at every step of their educational journey. Outside of school, she can be found playing with her dog, Apollo, spending time with her family and friends, and testing new recipes in the kitchen.
