Jason McKnight serves as the Deputy Chief of Technology for Mastery Schools, bringing over 20 years of experience in the technology field. Since joining Mastery in 2008 as the organization’s first Network Administrator, Jason has supported the growth of the network infrastructure from just four sites to its current footprint of 23 locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He leads a dedicated team responsible for deploying and maintaining hardware systems, supporting educators with instructional technology, and ensuring smooth technology operations across all Mastery campuses. His team also oversees cybersecurity compliance and regulations, including conducting regular security audits, providing employee training on best practices, and implementing advanced tools to protect against malware, phishing, and ransomware.

He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Temple University and has earned several advanced certifications in networking and systems engineering. These credentials enable him to keep Mastery’s technology infrastructure current, secure, and aligned with evolving industry standards and innovations. Beyond his professional achievements, Jason is a proud father of two.
