Eugene Haith is the proud principal of Mastery Prep Elementary. He was a founding member of the school’s team, initially joining as the assistant principal of specialized services. Before joining Mastery, Principal Haith spent 17 years in various roles within the Philadelphia academic community, including math teacher, climate manager, and assistant principal. 

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Eugene completed his entire formal education in the city, from kindergarten through his current pursuit of a doctoral degree in educational leadership. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a master’s degree in computer science, and a master’s degree in special education. 

Principal Haith is a former college athlete who has been inducted into the Jefferson University (formerly known as Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science and Philadelphia University) Hall of Fame twice. His vision for Mastery Prep Elementary is for all students to achieve at a high level, express themselves fully, represent their identities, and enjoy the learning process.
