Erin Turner - Mastery Schools

Erin Turner serves as the Deputy Chief of Talent Acquisition for Mastery Schools. In this role, she connects talent acquisition and leadership recruitment to streamline the network’s hiring efforts and strengthen hiring processes.

Turner has been a dedicated leader in education for over a decade, beginning her career as an eighth-grade social studies teacher through the Philadelphia Teaching Fellows. In 2010, a connection led her to Mastery Schools, where she combined her passion for education and talent by joining the network’s recruitment team. During the past 15 years, she has worked to advance Mastery’s mission by attracting, hiring, and supporting top talent across all schools and the central office. Her team has implemented a best-in-class outreach strategy and is committed to nurturing strong partnerships to support teacher career pathways.

She has a bachelor’s degree in history from the College of the Holy Cross and a master’s degree in education policy from the University of Pennsylvania.

She comes from a family of educators, and her husband, Eddie, serves as a high school Latin and Greek teacher. The New England native is trying to raise her kids, Keridan and Sullivan, as New England Patriots fans. However, she has accepted their love for the Philadelphia Eagles. Go Birds!
