Dr. Ayo Akinmoladun serves as the proud  principal of Harrity Elementary. Before joining Mastery, he served as a teacher, assistant principal, and dean of instruction for a network of charter networks in Memphis. Throughout his ten years as an educator, He has been recognized for his student achievement outcomes as a transformational impact recipient through Teach for America and top 20 under 30 educator.  Dr. Akinmoladun in his first-year as principal helped the Harrity Elementary team achieve historic conditional growth in both MAP math and reading. Dr. Akinmoladun has also been selected for the National Leadership Institute for men of color in educational leadership.

Mr. Akinmoladun holds a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown, a Master’s from Johns Hopkins University, and doctorate in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Johns Hopkins. He grew up in Kansas City and is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.  He enjoys cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Lakers.  He also enjoys traveling, nature walks  and running.
