Danielle Horowitz serves as the proud principal of McGraw Elementary. With over a decade of education experience, she started her teaching career as an English teacher in Chile before returning to the United States to teach in Philadelphia. Principal Horowitz’s decision to become an educator was inspired by her mother’s 27-year career as a special education teacher.
Before becoming the principal of McGraw, she served as the school’s assistant principal of instruction. She believes that every McGraw student is mighty and magnificent, and she is honored to lead a staff that shares in that thinking.
Principal Horowitz has a bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College and a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. On the weekends, she and her husband enjoy spending quality time with friends and family.
