The Class of 2026 is prepared to use their unique skills and experiences to make their mark on the world. The 830 graduates across all Mastery high schools have officially transitioned from students to alumni, and their various postsecondary pathways highlight the diversity of students’ interests and aspirations. 

 Mastery Schools is honored to have been an integral part of preparing these graduates for success after high school, and is grateful for the one-team spirit shared by school staff and families to ensure student achievement above all. Whether attending a two- or four-year college or university, pursuing trade school, joining the military, or heading directly into the workforce, the Class of 2026 is prepared to succeed and pursue their dreams. Below, are just a few of the incredible stories from the Class of 2026 and their postsecondary plans. 

 

Two-and four-year college pathway: 

• Jarah Rodriguez of Lenfest Campus will be Mastery’s first-ever student to attend Dartmouth College as a Lenfest Scholar. 
• Lai’ky Anderson of Simon Gratz High School completed the City College for Municipal Enrollment program and will go on to complete the Auto Tech pathway through The Community College of Philadelphia. 
• Mailloby Orthela of Mastery High School of Camden is this year’s Camden County All-Star athlete and MVP soccer player. He participated in the ResinTech paid internship program and will continue his academic and athletic career at Rutgers University–Camden, where he will play collegiate soccer.
• Nia Boldin-Jones of Shoemaker Campus completed the College Together dual -enrollment program graduating with an associates in General Studies from Southern New Hampshire University and will attend Penn State University this fall as a Lenfest Scholar. 

Workforce entry: 

• Osmairo Vasquez of Mastery High School of Camden participated in both the Carpentry Program and the Automotive Dual Enrollment Program with Camden County College. He will transition into the START (Skilled Trades Apprenticeship Readiness Training) Program with the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, followed by entry into the Council’s four-year apprenticeship program. 
• Naomi Henderson-Acosta of Simon Gratz High School completed JEV’s Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) dual enrollment program and is continuing her career working as a CMA at Greater Philadelphia Health Action. 

Trades: 

• Larry Lopez of Mastery High School of Camden participated in the South Jersey Carpenters Union program and through his passion and commitment to the carpentry trade, he has been accepted into Williamson College of the Trades, where he will pursue a full-ride program in the field. 

Military: 

• Hydeem Morman of Shoemaker Campus will continue his journey as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps.

As we conclude the 2026-2027 school year and approach our 25th anniversary, we are energized about renewing our commitment to student success through community and academic achievement
