The journey from Simon Gratz High School student to sales professional has always been a team effort for 2020 graduate Rahmayne Jackson-Bey. Gratz has been a constant for Rahmayne, with coaches and teachers serving as lifelong mentors who have guided him to academic and personal success. 

As a student, he balanced the academic rigor of STEM honors courses with his performance on the field as a rugby and football player, later playing at the collegiate level at Bloomsburg University. As Rahmayne climbs the corporate ladder, he reflects on how Mastery’s value of continuous improvement has empowered him to build his skill set as he strives for success in his sales career. 

Rahmayne recently returned to the community as a speaker at a Philadelphia School Board meeting where his testimonial about his Gratz experience helped secure a five-year charter renewal, guaranteeing continued quality education for the future generation of Gratz students. His advice for Mastery students is the common adage, “If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together.” Success is not a road to take alone.
