Lenfest students embrace healing through dance on “The Today Show”

Beyond the classroom, Mastery Schools students are engaging in meaningful skill building and showcasing their talents!

Lenfest Campus students Niyah Martinez-Burnett (9th grade) and Samia Bradley (11th grade) are members of the Legend House Ensemble, led by director Shayna Yvonne Rudd. The Legend House is an arts-based leadership program for dancers ages 3-18 that uses dance to help youth navigate the journey of adolescence.

As part of the ensemble, Niyah and Samia appeared on the Jenna and Sheinelle Show, performing a piece titled Joy, which reminded the audience that community brings out the best in everyone.
