Mastery Charter School’s 1^st Annual College Signing Day

On May 20, 2013, Mastery Charter Schools will be hosting its first annual College Signing Day at Temple University’s Liacouras Center.  College Signing Day is modeled after the high school athletic ceremony of the same name that celebrates student athletes picking their college of choice.  At Mastery, we celebrate the academics.  We will bring together over 5,500 Mastery community members including students, families, staff and supporters to celebrate the accomplishments of the class of 2013 when they announce the colleges they will attend in the fall of 2013.

The day will not only celebrate our high school seniors, but also celebrate the Mastery community.  It is through this celebration that:

Our younger students will be reminded that Mastery Charter Schools unequivocally believe that every student can get a great education and with hard work go on to college. 

• Our families will be recognized for their tireless support of students and get ready to let them leave the nest.
• Our staff will see the fruit of all their hard work.
• Our supporters will see firsthand the hard work being done at Mastery Charter to support students and the mission.

Details:

• Doors open at 12:30
• Program begins at 1:00 and ends at 2:00
• Seniors can invite four family members each
• Temple University and the Liacouras Center can be reached by public transportation.  Visit http://admissions.temple.edu/visit/maps-and-directions for more information.
• Parking can be found at http://admissions.temple.edu/visit/parking-information
• Seniors will be dismissed directly from the event
